LOLA’S DEVILISH EGGS

We’ve all been to a gathering at some point or another and it sometimes seems as if the deviled eggs take a backseat to the other foods. A good deviled egg is hard to come by. Well not anymore Amigos! Lucky Lola’s Sweet Jalapiña Heat is gonna take that dull egg to the next level!

Typically one wouldn’t think of incorporating sweet pineapple and spicy jalapeño into a deviled egg. I know what you’re thinking……. “Sounds a little too spicy!” Well let me tell you, this recipe has a nice balance. However if you are a little more adventurous you can just increase the dose of Sweet Jalapiña Heat. So let me share with you a recipe that produced the best deviled egg my 77 year old mother ever had in her life!

Here we go!

Boil 12 eggs.

Peel, cut in half lengthwise and scoop out yolk.

Put yolks in mixing bowl.

Add 4 Tablespoons Mayonnaise

Add 1 teaspoon Mustard

Add 4 Tablespoons Lucky Lola’s

Mix it all up. Taste it. I go to 5 Tablespoons of Lucky Lola’s. You be the judge. Fry 4 full length slices of thick cured bacon. ( I like cured bacon from the meat counter cause it’s not slimy ) Remove crispy bacon and pat dry on paper towel. Be careful to not make the bacon overly brittle. I find it’s easier to make into bits. Drain grease, but do not wipe pan. Crumble bacon and return to pan over medium heat. Drizzle approximately 1 Tablespoon or so maple syrup over bacon bits. Cook about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and let cool. Fill your egg halves with the awesome yolk mix and put some maple bacon bits on top!
